Privacy Policy

Overview

PoseVenture (“we”, “us”) runs a beta product that helps you turn observations into structured venture directions. This policy describes what we may collect, why, and how to reach us about your data.

What we collect

• Account data: email and authentication identifiers when you create an account (via our auth provider).
• Content you submit: text you enter in Discover and related flows (e.g. observations, saved opportunities, portfolio items).
• Usage and technical data: basic logs and device/browser metadata needed to run the service, debug issues, and protect against abuse.
• Feedback: messages or feedback you send us (including by email).

Why we use it

To provide and improve the product, save your work, authenticate you, respond to requests, keep the service secure, and understand how the beta is used so we can prioritize fixes and features.

Third parties & infrastructure

We rely on vendors for hosting, authentication, database/storage, and email as needed to operate PoseVenture (for example cloud hosting and auth services). Those providers process data only to deliver the service under appropriate agreements.

Retention

We keep information as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.

If you separately allow optional product-usage flow recording, accepted raw Journey events are retained for 90 days and identifier-free daily Journey aggregates for 13 months. You can withdraw that optional permission below at any time without limiting product access. Withdrawal stops new recording immediately and is separate from any email preference. The Production expiry schedule remains inactive until separately reviewed and approved.

The product is in beta; practices may evolve. We will update this page for material changes and adjust the “Last updated” date.
